Straw poll: Would you come to an oppo meet in Nashville?
edit: most likely in the spring time so it’s all warm and blooming and junk

(very oppo inside for $12, if enough commit the price can drop too)

My wife and I would love to do that, just depends on when. I had brought up trying to do an Oppo meet for those of us in the southeast a while back but it didn’t get very far. I’ve been to Lane and love it. My wife hasn’t been yet and wants to go. Would have to make a couple days of it since we live almost 8 hours away, but it would be worth it.

Yep. I’ll be down that way decently often anyway, and it shouldn’t be hard to convince my fiance if there’s a trip to Arrington involved.

I’d also vote for Broadway dinner and drinking shenanigans after too.

That would be perfect. Plenty of time to prepare. When I suggested it a while back I had mentioned Atlanta or Nashville or something that was sorta central to most of us. The idea got kicked around some but I had other stuff going on and couldn’t really make a formal plan at the time. I think your idea sounds great.

The only weekend plans I have all summer is a trip to Atlanta to see friends. What do you think of doing almost a full weekend event? Meet Saturday Morning, drive to Lane, for the morning, then head to Lynchburg or Arrington and then head back into downtown Nashville for a night on Broadway?

That would be really , really neat. Cool Springs has one of the absolute best C&Cs too. If we get enough people, we may be able to organise this and get Lane in on it.
